Free workshops for Saint Louis teachers! Gain a paradigm-shifting perspective on pedagogies of equity in this learning series exclusively for local educators. Centered on social justice, cultural diversity, and socio-emotional competencies in the K-12 classroom, this course creates a collaborative inquiry space in which educators will utilize a consultancy process (from the National School Reform Faculty) to engage with other educational practitioners. The goal is to establish a much-needed Social Justice Community of Practice in the Greater Metropolitan Saint Louis Area. The learning built from this collaborative will enable educators to manage the complexities of social, political, and institutional issues, while also increasing the learning outcomes of their student population with culturally-competent curriculum.
